Sebastian is home to several museums.
The Sebastian Historical Museum is located in the old city hall on Main Street. This museum preserves the history of Sebastian as a fishing village in the 1800’s and the changes in the City since then.
The Sebastian Inlet Fishing Museum is located within the Inlet State Park and displays the history of the Sebastian commercial fishing industry.
The McLarty Treasure Museum is also located within the Sebastian Inlet State Park. This museum houses many examples of treasure finds along the "Treasure Coast" of Florida.
Vero Beach has a well-known art museum that holds regular art showings. As well as, the Riverside Theatre which hosts complete live theatrical performances, including many off Broadway productions. You’ll find other theaters in nearby Melbourne, Fort Pierce and Stuart.
Along Indian River Drive in Sebastian, there are a number of restaurant/entertainment venues. Several cater to fresh seafood caught in the local area.
As of June 2015, the “Working Waterfront” project has added a local Sebastian fishing museum to its main building located on Indian River Drive. The museum demonstrates the local Sebastian fishing history. A restored fish house is nearing completion which will show the latest operation of the Sebastian fishing industry
